D&D General 50 DnD Youtubers get together to talk about DnD's 50th birthday

DnD YT'ers are a varied bunch, but we are still rather friendly. 50 of us decided to give the game a proper anniversary celebration by talking about why play the game in our own unique way. This was the end result

D&D General Getting The Gold Out of the Dungeon

Animate dead on the dragon. Mend the wounds. Feed it all the gold and have it walk back to your base

D&D 5E Potential Monsters in Quests from the Infinite Staircase Adventures

I don't think they're going to go past the first five levels of lost city simply because after that the monsters ramp up in difficulty quite a bit. It's supposed to be according to their own descriptions taking you from level 1 to 3, but you've got vampire spawn and devil swine in the next five...

D&D 5E Potential Monsters in Quests from the Infinite Staircase Adventures

Quite a bit. Different powers, tactics and motivations. Devil swine and were-boars hate each other. The swine are defined by their greed and gluttony, are far more magical with the ability to charm. They are slavers and cannibals on top of it. There is much more information on them in the...

D&D General The Lost City and Bioshock have a surprisingly large number of parallels

Which also causes another question of why have lost city and pharaoh in the same compilation? Two dungeon crawls set in a desert pyramid seem a bit redundant unless it's a region themed anthology.

D&D General The Lost City and Bioshock have a surprisingly large number of parallels

Looking at the art for the new book coming out, it got me to thinking about what made the module so well regarded. Then I started seeing how this might have been an inspiration for Rapture, though I doubt that. Both have: Isolated city unknown to the rest of the world Masked inhabitants...

D&D General The D&D Cartoon is set in Faerun since when?

Several of the LJN characters were placed in Ierendi, Mystara's Polynesian equivalent. While they were pretty much just named dropped, it did put them canonically in that setting

D&D General Which D&D-related You Tube channels do you find worth watching? (+)

Since I can safely assume everybody already follows my Channel, here's a list of my friends' channels Hour of the Raven covers all things Ravenloft, definitely the best RL channel on YT. Dragonlance Saga is another lore channel, covering some setting about lancing dragons. Greyhawk Grognard...

D&D General Who else owned the Official D&D Soundtrack from Midnight Syndicate?

The voice acting is très mauvais. There's a guy doing a Peter Lorre accent, almost everybody sounds like Parisian waiter. All the French I learned is Cajun and the cd is still painful to listen to. All the tracks are on YouTube if you need some quick penance.

D&D General Who else owned the Official D&D Soundtrack from Midnight Syndicate?

If you are even partially fluent in French, do not listen to this CD. Which is hilarious as Bruce Heard, the former Mystara head at TSR is a native French speaker. As soon as he left, TSR inflicted one of the biggest linguistic crimes in gaming history.

D&D 5E What are the highlights of D&D 5th edition for you?

The overwhelming response when I finally finished this. Tens of thousands of downloads of the POD file, and then people translated it into Italian.
