    D&D 5E 8th level Demiplane spell...does this sound right?

Sounds like a pretty innovative use for it! As a DM, I'd just let them do it as it would give them all the lucre they need to write their own character's endings and retire the way they want. They just took down a goddess, so they deserve to live it up! Not sure if anything for high level...

D&D 5E Enhancing "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" (Practical stuff to try at your table!)

If the party seems to be worried about reporting in, you could have one of the NPCs give them a sending stone to report back. A future plot hook could also involve the matched pair falling into the wrong hands, or a hurried message of dire warning sent with the most important part just outside...

    D&D 5E worthy quest

If you don't want to pre-preemptively introduce the PCs to the Elf King in the Rise of Tiamat, than perhaps Leosin can relate a tale of elfin lore via his Harper lore? Maybe he's heard about an abandoned temple of Sehanine wear the PC can wash the afflicted area with water from a sacred well...

    D&D 5E worthy quest

What manner of affliction have they come down with? I'd say a free casting of the spell would be a pretty good signing bonus for one of the factions, and have the quest be the continuation of the Tyranny of Dragons story line. Might seem a bit of a cop out, but really, what more noble of a quest...

D&D 5E Carrion Crawler Queen lair

I like this idea! Maybe have the encounter in a chamber riddled with narrow tunnels that she can pop out of, and have one of the lair actions take her from one hole to the next, giving the encounter a more dynamic element. PCs can try to block off tunnels, or they can follow her through them...

D&D 5E Carrion Crawler Queen lair

The OP's first post sort of implies that the PCs are going to go in to this encounter with as many resources as possible. So I do not think it's out of the question that they will take a long rest right before leaping into the fray. It's five tentacle strikes, and one bite. The tentacles have...

D&D 5E Carrion Crawler Queen lair

Given the size of the party, and the amount of help their receiving, I don't think this is to far out of line when you also consider that each tentacle only targets 1 creature. Unless the DM is rolling hot, some of those tentacles will miss, leaving a good 3 pcs or so unhurt plus the three...

D&D 5E Carrion Crawler Queen lair

I'd include a 'swallow whole' style of attack. Cuts down on player actions and is pretty thematic for a gigantic monstrosity!

D&D 5E 5e necrotic damage has me a little confused.....

Depending on the monster, they could be undead!

D&D 5E 5e necrotic damage has me a little confused.....

Lesser Restoration won't cut it, it's pretty specific about the conditions it ends. Greater Restoration specifically says that it will end lowered hp max condition though. But yeah, the reduced HP max will typically vanish after an extended rest.

    Parent - New 5e Background

I'd also include intimidation as a choice if the children in question are unruly teenagers, and give advantage on the check if you use their middle name!

    D&D 5E Crossbreed Dragons

My spin is that Dragons are naturally asexual, but assume the form of a different species to reproduce. They find the process degrading as they all find other species to be feeble, so they only do the deed on rarest of occasions.

D&D 5E Stradh Von Zarovich, formidable Necromancer? / Necromancer build for 5e

There are stats for Strahd through out his various incarnations all over the place, with the most recent being 4E's open grave. For 5e you'd probably be best served by using the spell caster vampire template, though perhaps upping the level to your desired CR. As for other famous necromancer's...

    D&D 5E Battlemaster: 18th level feature

Considering all the maneuvers they get, I don't think they've been short changed that much. Course the option to get MORE superiority dice would be nice.

    D&D 5E magic item gifts

    1. If the PC is a noble, then perhaps and older retainer recalls certain tales of previous wielders that would hurl the ax to smite their foes from afar and return to their hand when they called for it. Or perhaps the weapon has a limited sentience and begins to communicate with her. The latter...

D&D 5E Are there 5E stats for the Hoopak?

I'd use the stats for a quarter staff, but give it the option to hurl stones instead of the versatile property.

D&D 5E Which Undermountain Book for my 5e Waterdeep Campaign?

I haven't played either the 3E or the 4E versions of the Undermountain, so I can offer no opinion on those. I have played two of the Undermountain campaigns from 2E, the first one is better, though it does contain a lot of empty rooms. A good way to introduce the PCs to the dungeon is to have...

D&D 5E Just read Vengeance of the Iron Dwarf...

I made a comment in a previous thread about how Drizzt is the type of character you 'get' when you're a teen, are embarrassed of when you are in your 20's and then feel nostalgic about when you are +30. I've been re-reading, or trying to re-read, some of the forgotten realms book I purchased as...

D&D 5E Enhancing "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" (Practical stuff to try at your table!)

You could slip some references from the cult into one of the other adventures. Maybe some of the villains or disposable minions have been approached by the cult with an offer for employment? Upon searching the dead body they find a letter from one of other Cult Heads (maybe Mondath or...

D&D 5E Enhancing "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" (Practical stuff to try at your table!)

Baldur's Gate would probably be the better choice then Elturel since there is so much recent information published about it. Elturel, from what I remember in 4E, was pretty much an uber-paladin stronghold. There were some hints of big brother style oppression, but for the most part it was pretty...
