Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Second Edition: I hear it's bad - Why Bad, How Bad?

Not to mention that the 10 minute duration is applied to a lot of exploration activities, which means that the action doesn't have to stop completely for someone to get a breather.

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Second Edition: I hear it's bad - Why Bad, How Bad?

Another thing: you can take 10 minutes to repair a shield. This is important, because it also takes 10 minutes to treat wounds and to regain focus points.

    PF2 and the adventure day

It's weird. So there are these "powers" that players can choose to take based on their class, right? And these "powers" use a point resource that you can regain by doing a class-specific fluff activity for 10 minutes. Sounds like a short rest/encounter power equivalent to help non-spellcasters...

    Pathfinder 2E XP for Gold

I meant that in relation to PF1 and 5e, where it actually is a change. I didn't know how much you'd sunk your teeth into the playtest rules.

    Pathfinder 2E XP for Gold

Yeah, from what I hear they're moving to a silver standard to keep gold values from getting ridiculous when making expensive purchases.

    Pathfinder 2E XP for Gold

I found something on the paizo forums posted by someone who got their books early.

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Second Edition: I hear it's bad - Why Bad, How Bad?

I think they will have some. I know for certain that one of the designers has confirmed the GMG will have a variant rule for decoupling item quality from magicalness while the two are conflated in the base game. I'd be surprised if that was the extent.

Pathfinder 2E Are you moving from 5E to PF2?

I'm planning on giving PF2 a shot. I really like what I'm seeing with it. Maybe I can figure out a way to get the group I DM for to give it a shot.

    D&D 5E Reworking the D&D 5E Races (WIP)

So the Elves aren't actually well-suited to any of those things, but they're pretty enough that the dirty commoners don't notice?

    D&D 5E [5e] Weapon Damage Option

You'd need to rewrite monk's Martial Arts feature to give it a replacement for the damage increases.

D&D 5E Heroic Archetypes and Gaps in Class coverage

I think gadgeteers and non-beastmaster proxy heroes are still pretty lacking. The artificer is alright but other than their subclass, they don't quite feel like active inventors in actual play.

    D&D 5E Twinned Spell + Extended Spell + Conjure X build?

But Twinned Spell requires the spells to target a single creature, which Conjure X does not do. It targets a space where the elemental appears.

D&D 5E Smite Nerf: Paladin Buff?

It's a really big nerf to paladins in general. Most paladin spells require concentration, not just the smites.

    D&D 5E Best Crit-Fisher Builds

Thoughts on adding Orcish Fury to half-orc barbarian build for a little extra spike damage? +2d12 on a crit once per rest could be nice, especially if you're sitting on an odd ability score to begin with.

[UPDATED] Here's Mike Mearls' New D&D 5E Initiative System

I think I'm going to try this out. I'll print out a diagram with pictures and tape it to the front of my screen for easy player reference. I'll use dexterity to break ties. I might remove the penalty for moving, and readying an action would effectively have initiative 0. The resolution for...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Feats for Races

Oh, sounds like an urban myth to me, but let's ignore that. In mechanical terms, that's a passive effect. No reaction needed. Distracting someone hasn't got anything to do with how lucky that person is, and the things you mentioned that could do something to a person's mojo aren't...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Feats for Races

At this point I don't think you really get most of what I've been trying to say. I'm not saying that people can't be lucky and that that luck can't transfer to other people, I'm saying that making it so the character, instead of only the player, choose how and when that luck transfers on a case...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Feats for Races

It's just silly so it doesn't fit in many campaigns because it shifts the tone.
