CURSE OF STRAHD: Here's The Official Announcement & Cover Image!

"Based on" and "elements of" don't=bad story telling. Just because one thing is inspired by another doesn't mean it is a carbon copy of that thing. Many suggested Tyranny if Dragons was a clone of the war if the Lance. This is clearly not true beyond the plot of "bad guys want to bring big big...

CURSE OF STRAHD: Here's The Official Announcement & Cover Image!

During the podcast, Tracy off handedly talks about sheltered teenage girl Gertrude. For anyone familiar with I6, Gertruda (with an a) is described almost exactly this way, with other similarities. With this in mind, it might be that either A) this is a retelling of the classic with some new...

[UPDATED AGAIN!] CURSE OF STRAHD Will Be Available March 15th

OK, he just reposted what someone else has posted in another thread. Give him a break. WotC must have known the scrutiny they'd be under over the weekend when they put the pictures out with an interview and announcement promised for Monday. Thunder stolen? Perhaps. Any less awesome? Not a chance.

New Gothic D&D Storyline To Be Announced On Monday

Something I noticed when Out of the Abyss came out was that they had hard cover adventures to go along with their board games. Wrath for Tyranny, Temple for PotA (granted it was released with the module) and Drizzt for OotA. I was guessing back in November if the next one would be Ravenloft...
