Also, who’s this little guy behind the hook horror?

D&D 5E (2024) No way to end Rage on your turn with 2024 rules?

Oh yeah, that sounds right. Forgot that bit. I've been playing a Barbarian/Druid for a couple of years now (although we didn't switch this campaign to 5E24). I think I've always cast my spells before going into a rage, personally, because when raging I don't think my character would be making...

D&D 5E (2024) No way to end Rage on your turn with 2024 rules?

You choose to prolong the rage each round. So basically you can just choose to not extend your rage for the next turn. In effect, it means you no longer have to use a bonus action to end it. (This is from memory, I don't have the book in front of me at the moment)

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

There are plenty of old book covers with characters posing that no one complained about. Personally, I think people just prefer the way oil paintings look.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

Vanessa Kirby says with her performance that she was planting seeds for the possibility of doing the Malice storyline at some point in the future.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

That’s fair, and for sure they trimmed the film down to get it under 2 hours. I just didn’t mind the focus.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

The fame and celebrity plays into isolation, though. This is a common thread with Ben, he’s not seen as a monster now, but instead he’s a cartoon character with a catch phrase. The irony being, it’s the same fate. It’s why the scene with him spinning the car for the kids is both heartwarming and...

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

I agree with Micah, a single movie isn’t ideal for a soap compared to a serialised format. The movie still has a lot of the plot centre around a married couple dealing with a pregnancy and the birth of their first child, which feels more soap than superhero to me.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

They are in an isolated bubble. That's the point. They're disconnected from the world they protect. That is the depth. We're shown this through both Johnny and Ben and they're interactions with people outside their circle. Johnny looks uncomfortable when Sue teases him about dating, because he...

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

I just want to make another post about the production design. I loved all the detail and (alternate) world building. Those silver vinyl records looked so good! This is also the first movie I can remember in a long time where I would have liked to have seen it on IMAX for Galactus.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

Oops, hit the wrong button before replying... Ragnarock had more characters, yeah, so did Love and Thunder. Fantastic 4, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Moleman and Franklin felt like enough characters to tell a story for me. The number of characters has nothing to do with how good a film is...

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

I thought that showing the origin story in a TV show montage celebrating 4 yeas of the Fantastic Four was a good way to catch up the audience whilst also giving background to the world we're in.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

I'm not sure how wild it is to have a movie about the Fantastic Four focus on the Fantastic Four.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Official Teaser Trailer (2025)

I thought the film was worth seeing for the production design alone. I loved the 60’s retro future look of everything. Apparently it was the same design team that worked on the Loki series. Galactus and Silver Surfer were also highlights, but everyone was perfectly cast.

D&D General [rant]The conservatism of D&D fans is exhausting.

So once a player learns the spell 'control weather' the game is no longer simulationist? ;) I'm just kidding. I know what you meant, I just thought it was a funny example.
