D&D 4E Crowd intelligence required: references & pages to all 4e classes

Do you have links to the rules errata for the various classes too? I'm not sure if the compiled rules errata includes all the errata or if some slipped through that (also the link to the compiled errata died sometime after 2021 unfortutely, had to go through the waybackmachine to find it...)...

D&D 4E Is there a list of monster powers for 4e?

In the old online insider compendium, they had a compilation of powers for player characters, but not for monsters. There was a list of the monster stat blocks themself which included all the monster powers, but not separate entries for individual monster powers.

    D&D 4E DM tool kit

When it comes to character sheets intended for physical printout, I'm personally fond of the kiznit character sheet, (but that might just be me, and it might be more relevant for players than the DM): UPDATED 6/20/08! kiznit's 4e Fold-over Character Sheet w/ Cards

    D&D 4E 4e ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Thanks for the reply! I'm still a tad confused by the wording on the warpriest domain powers though. On page 88 in HotFL it says "level 1 domain feature: benefit: You gain benefits associated with your domain, which include special features plus two at-will attack powers, one utility power...

    D&D 4E 4e ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Hey, I have a question regarding domain powers granted to Warpriests (i.e. essentials version clerics). Can domain powers, where there is no choice between different powers, be retrained into other powers? For example: Warpriests of the Death domain get the "Death's Shadow" lvl 1 cleric...

Handling defeated foes: dead or unconscious, and what to do about it?

I think what the various abilities dealing damage actually does can be very abstract, especially considering the "fluff" and "crunch" related to abilities in 4E can be quite separated. Thus I think an alternative way to the normal rules could be that each X damage overkill (damage past 0 HP)...

    D&D 4E Exercise : Building an AD&D Ranger with 4e

The main point about Alertness was to reflect the ability have a smaller chance of being surprised of the AD&D ranger (but the Perception boost is nice too, aiding with tracking, etc.). Stealth sounds like a good skill to get yes. Giant killer only works off critical hits. The Hunting Spear...

    D&D 4E Exercise : Building an AD&D Ranger with 4e

About building the ranger: You might want to pick up the "Alertness" feat. For extra damage to giants, there are some "Greater style" feats for fighters/warlord/rangers in the in the "Hunting Spear" group, or you could get a "Giantslayer Weapon". Getting the "Fey Beast Tamer" theme could...

    D&D 4E Streamlined 4e combat

I just google searched it, sorry that I couldn't find anything more specific "sets of rules": https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/2j9dom/how_can_you_do_4e_combat_quickly_or_just_faster/ https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/1642i4/any_house_rules_for_speeding_up_4e_combat/

    D&D 4E 4e ask a simple question, get a simple answer

If the target is not granting CA before being hit, would the damage roll benefit from the CA if the hit cause the target to go prone though? Would the following be correct? 1. The target is hit 2. The target becomes prone and thus grants CA 3a. The damage bonus from hitting a target granting...

    D&D 4E 4e ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Question If a character takes the "Spike Chain Training" feat, of which the relevant part says "You gain proficiency with the spiked chain. You can treat the spiked chain as a double weapon. As a double weapon, each end of the spiked chain is a light blade and deals 2d4 damage. ", does this...

    Rolling initiative every round

One of the arguments against it is that it'd take too much more time to reroll everything every turn. There are already enough things to keep track of in combat in 4E in my experience, especially in paragon and epic levels. It'd mean that some effects which have durations like "until the end of...

Ways of getting some points in Nature?

There's a lvl 2 druid utility power, All-Encompassing Nature, which allow using Nature in place of Arcana, Dungeoneering, or Religion. There is a lvl 2 wizard utility power, Arcane Mutterings, which allow using Arcana in place of Bluff, Diplomacy or Intimidate. I couldn't find any skill power...

Ways of getting some points in Nature?

For foraging, a hunting kit can aid you, giving +2 to Nature checks. It's a mundane set of equipment, cost 50 GP and weight 5 lb. Source: Eberron's Player Guide p. 96. I couldn't find any "easy" ways to get the skill training (for +5) aside from retraining the warlock multiclass feat into...

    Woe is me: Character choices

So you're trying to have the cake and eat it too kinda by playing a class that does high damage instead of medium damage, but sneak in some utility/choices (instead of "I use my highest damage ability over and over" or "I have 5 utility low damage stuff to select from depending on the...

    Demonologist/Alienist/Archivist archetype

I'm no CharOP expert on items, but if you're going to use a Long Range dagger, you might as well get the Distance Weapon instead, which is lvl 2 instead of lvl 1, if that's not a problem - it increases long range by 10, and doesn't increase short range, but makes it so that you take no penalty...

    Demonologist/Alienist/Archivist archetype

Here are some rituals you might want to consider. There are many more, including rituals for finding traps/secret doors/dealing with hazards and hostile environements, traveling, excavating areas quickly, etc. Also, you might want to peak at the list of rituals on the d&d wiki - unlike most...

    D&D 4E Building an Archivist in 4E

It's probably not better than playing an Invoker or Artificer, like mentioned above, but an alternative may be playing a Warpriest of Oghma, who can use their Wisdom modifier in place of Int for skill checks, and thus have all knowledge checks derive from Wisdom. (though I guess, amongst other...

    D&D 4E Building an Archivist in 4E

Perhaps the "Oghma's Recall" utility power from the feat with the same name would fit in somewhere? (It's a minor action channel divinity power which give you +10 to all knowledge checks temporarily). It's from the FRPG, dunno if that matters.
