    D&D 5E Best designed classes in 5e

From my own experience, I would say the rogue and druid of the moon are amongst the two best designed classes. Very simple to play, keep pace of play easily, amazing versatility, able to be useful even without having lots of rests, and genuinely fun classes. One of the the most poorly designed...

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

Yes, sorry I didn't clarify it. The person who murdered the child was the druid, who wanted to reroll and planned on just killing off his character. The session after he did that, we encountered the mindflayer in which ate his brain. It is both the druid and the paladin who want the new...

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

Really? That is surprising to me. I guess we tried to play every 2 weeks or so, but we're all the same school so it made it a bit easier

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

I have definitely talked to the DM about it, but he's one of our friends and roommates. I don't think I will be able to enjoy any real campaign with such a toxic player in our group. Constantly on the phone, table talking, telling people what to do on their turns. I think this is pretty much the...

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

Yes, he went nuts to kill off his own character. He said he planned to try to actually fight our paladin to the death, but the DM did not allow it obviously

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

It was really unfortunate because the player who killed the kid said he wanted to reroll and "wanted to commit suicide" to basically kill off his character. Instead, he just wreaked havoc on the entire storyline during that session, which made it very awkward for all of us trying to react.

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

That is what we just tried to do to fill in as we figured out what was going on in the main campaign. It seems that its more than the dm's decisions, but it seems that it may actually be a toxic party member, unfortunately.

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

That is actually what we did. The DM and I discussed starting a short, silly campaign as we figure out where to go with the real campaign, but now the other two just want to abandon the original. We always said that the original was going to be the main campaign, but that has since changed...

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

I sure hope so, we just had to run from an ancient green dragon yesterday! Thank you for the welcoming! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that our DM believes in the use of retcons, or just doesnt know about them. When the player killed the innocent child, the DM realized him backed himself into...

D&D 5E Campaign being throw out after a year

Hello all, This is my first post here on EN, so I would like to say hello! I am having a bit of an issue with my current party I am with. My buddies and I started a campaign about a year ago and have been through about 25 sessions. We started with only two members in the party, me and one...
