I know the release schedule is open right now but I'm assuming some of what the new hires are working on might not be seen until 2027 or later. I think most of us feel comfortable that we are getting Dark Sun this year.

I really hope Hasbro/WotC gives them the same kind of freedom the original 5E team had. Just leave them alone and let them cook. The quality of their recent products is phenomenal and I am really looking forward to Dark Sun.

They gave me my first freelance gig for En5ider and were great to work with. I wish them nothing but the best.

I can only imagine the stress of surviving at WotC. I figure by next Friday they will be shedding staff for the holiday season yet again. We should expect WotC to have the best people running games, and we might, but they have to be experiencing brain drain. I was dubious of all of the releases...

I own 2 stores in KY. I appreciate WotC's data but in both of my stores 2014 core books outsold 2024 core books in the first year. I'm not saying WotC is lying or their data is wrong I'm just sharing my experiences. For my market I think the mass market, like Barnes & Noble, and DnD Beyond's...

Sadly, the bundles on DnD Beyond have really cut into my DnD sales of new product. Right now my bestselling RPGs are Shadowdark and Daggerheart. I will say that both of the new box sets are incredible products.

My problem with WotC management is starting Sigil as a product.

But in 2025 shouldn't WotC be able to manage a poject with cool components, an intro the to the rules, AND a sandbox at the same time? For $50? If nothing else, they could have upgraded the components to the Phandelver Starter set.
