    Alright thanks. It's just hard because D&D 5e is really the first and only tabletop rpg I have ever tried and know about. So I don't know any others. And I feel I'll get confused with other systems because there are not that many videos explaining how things work.

    Ok let me see if i got this right. So i make a class that has all the basics of what I want at level 1. And then as they level up they pick a class to level up from. Is that the idea of it?

    Thanks, this is hard to figure out based on what I'm wanting to do. I haven't looked at all of your suggestions but I have looked at Savage Worlds and I kind of like it but from what I've looked up it seems like a combat orientated system. Is that true?

    yea that's basically what I'm getting at. Like I've even thought about like the whole skill tree thing too. I will try that out too. Going to try some one shots and trial fights to see how it works out.
