    Eberron mark

I'm not so much interested in the events of the Lost Mark as in the abilities that the MOD grants . Baker in his MOD article makes suggestions which I will keep in mind, but the only solid guidance on this seems to be the trilogy. If there were anything else I wouldn't bother with the Lost...

    Eberron mark

I googled it and came upon an article by Baker that said the design team didn`t consider Eberron novels canon but that they could be considered canon. The official Wizard`s novels. Since there isn`t any other info except Baker`s admitted non canon MOD article , I`ll go with the Lost Mark.

    Eberron mark

Yes , Baker states in his MOD article on his site that there`s no canon info on the MOD , which I`d agree with except for the Lost Mark trilogy. Since WotC published it , that makes it canon . Thus far (110 pages into Road To Death , the second one.) , it seems that Forbeck didn`t get the memo...

    Eberron mark

According to Keith Baker, though, the MOD was one of the pure marks so a openly destructive power would be rather odd . I'll see if the rest of the Lost Mark trilogy sheds any light on this.

    Eberron mark

Hadn't thought of that one, thanks! Looked it up and ghoul touch is usually green. If the blood red energy is just a visual effect, that opens up a slew of options: Slay Living, Vampiric Touch, Chill Touch, Inflict Wounds or Enervation. Since Esprë wasn't a experienced adventurer at that point...

    Eberron mark

I'll be starting a Eberron campaign in a few months and one of my players wants to play a elf with the Mark of Death ( MOD) , so I've been looking into it. To that end , I'm reading Matt Forbeck's Lost Mark trilogy. In the first book Marked For Death Teoma , a changeling working for the Blood...

    D&D 5E half-feats & point-based ASIs

Hello , I`m kinda new to the DM and 5e things. I have a couple of players who want to do a feat or two , but they contend that RAW , feats are too expensive to be practical . BTW , one also wants to do a feat for a nonhuman PC at 1st level. Their argument is that since most PCs only get 5 ASIs...

    "Wraithblade" ?

Hello kinda new both to 5e and DMing . One of my players wants to create a Wraithblade PC . Not the 5e rogue archetype , but rather a recreation of the DDO Rogue / Wizard multiclass . A magic wielding assassin who specialises in briefly assuming undead form via Shroud , which , alas , don`t...
