From what I've read it plays okay, but it basically peaks at level 5 where it gets Large sized Wild Shape (for the two forms it can take) and get Pounce. Basically it's the lackluster fluff class features (Wild Empathy when you have no animal companion, trackless step, track, woodland stride)...
