    The older dnd editions' xp system was primarily based on obtaining gold, with relatively little xp for killing monsters. This curtailed some murder hobo behavior while still acknowledgingcombat success.

    Massive $750 10-Book "The Enemy Within Collector’s Edition" From Cubicle 7

    Does anyone know how essential those companion books are to running the campaign? Because if they contain mostly designer notes then to me this becomes an affordable 5 book set if you chose the standard edition.
