It seems you get a bonus of some type every time you get a 1 on the 'Marvel' die. That's one in six. That seems more than generous enough. The "616" result is a super bonus.

I think one of the best bits was how the Batmobile was bloody scary, not due to the number of machine guns on it (there weren't any - Yay!) but because of its shear brutal presence.

Are you saying their spellcasting while in animal form is only 5th level, but they still retain 9th level in human form? Or are you saying their whole spellcasting is limited to 5th level?
