    Pathfinder Teases New Runelords Content

Actually this is reply of a (former) PEG employee on a question on why the AP structure wasn't more "Savage World"-ified:

The license from Paizo didn't allow for PEG to alter the AP, it needed to be a straight conversion.

    Seriously. That looks awesome.

    D&D (2024) Thoughts on Stealth and D&D2024

This was exactly what I thought when I first read it. But then the box "Unseen Attackers and Targets" talks about "...a target you can't see..." and even though it doesn't mention the Invisible condition, it would be reasonable to assumes that "invisible" would fall under "a target you cant' see".

D&D General Chris Perkins and Stan! - previous D&D edition thoughts

I really can't see he problem here. All the designer taking part in 4e, has talked about how they were inspired in one way or the other by video games. I mean, I remember the days back then. MMOs were huge and "the new thing" back then. I could totally see how people at WotC looked at that and...

D&D General Chris Perkins and Stan! - previous D&D edition thoughts

Oh geez, not you too, Chris Perkins. Edition warrior badge earned. Perhaps just accept people opinions on 4e differ? We can all have our own opinions about this without taking it so personally.

WotC 5E Designer Mike Mearls Talks About The OGL Crisis

My feeling as well. There definitely was an uptake on the heels of the OGL-crisis, but I have heard many that switched back to 5e (or other systems like A5E) because of the more complex PF2 game play.

D&D General Ray Winninger on 5e’s success, product cadence, the OGL, and more.

Pretty much agree. But I do fear that something akin to Apple's walled garden is hard to resist for business suits. But I do hope they don't go that way.

D&D General Ray Winninger on 5e’s success, product cadence, the OGL, and more.

Thank you for these posts! Given your impressive resumé, they make for a fascinating read. I’ve long suspected that with the rise of online play—accelerated by COVID, no doubt—WotC might finally realize the 4e vision of generating significant subscription-based revenue. That said, they’ll need...

The D&D 4th edition Rennaissaince: A look into the history of the edition, its flaws and its merits

I would looove if 4e got put in a CC license. Would be amazing. Then it would be possible - and legal - to make all kind of tools and what not. Annoying that WotC seems to have "forgotten" the part about putting older editions in CC.

Isn't it a matter of opinion and tastes? I mean I kind of liked Essentials. Or am I missing the mark.

    My "Savage" Experience

Fantasy I guess. But most would do. Just curious how a true SWADE module would look. I only have the SWPF stuff.
