D&D 5E (2024) How excited are you for the 2 upcoming Forgotten Realms books?

FRs past is well explored, not it's present. Greyhawk has not been a living setting in a long time. There was a reason Perkins snuck GH into the DMG, it would never get a setting book otherwise.

Wizards of the Coast Head Explains Benefits to D&D Franchise Model

Paramount or Sony would benifit from buying Hasbro, then selling the Consumer Products Division (but keeping VALUABLE IP like transformerS) along with the Hasbro name and just make the Company Wizards of the Coast. It's the IP and Video games that would be the real value with buying Hasbro.

D&D General Hasbro enters gambling deal using Dungeons & Dragons intellectual property

If Elminster is showing off he either possesses a willing female host or uses magic to take a beautiful female form. Elminster is Gender Fluid to some degree, and when he is a her that is when she's more exhibitionistic.

D&D General "It’s A Gardening Exercise”: D&D’s Greg Bilsland On Remembering The Forgotten Realms In 2025 Fadomentals Article

Things to note he refers to Fall of Netheril as a PDF, mistake or a revealed plan? Also BG chapter is between 30 & 40 pages. I suspect the other 5 locals are roughly the same. Also says the Dalelands is more the classic D&D content with ruin exploration. Otherwise honestly not a particularly...

D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords: Remastered Edition Is Coming to Kickstarter October 2nd

D&D 5E (2024) When are we getting announcements for 2026 books?

That is very interesting perspective I've never heard about Darksun. I've mostly seen Darksun being mostly a warning about relentless environmental exploitation and the resulting societal collapse from a D&D Sword & Sorcery perspective. The death of religion driving the collapse is a new thought...

    D&D General Kara Tur 5e

Desolate is in the eye of the beholder. Xanthar to be specific. Anyways about Kara Tur there was supposed to be a fantasy Sri Lanka and fantasy Thialand, but they never got to it in time. You could start there.

    D&D General Kara Tur 5e

#Tonguez if you found that interesting you should see a map of Canada imposed upon Europe. Not only does Canada partially or fully cover ever single Europe & Middle East country except maybe Yemen, it covers the northern coastline of Africa, including Cairo. That is how massive Canada is.

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

Tyr exists for the later, everything else for the former, so it could be done without retconning the setting or undermining it's themes. For me the real question is will it have a Shadowfell or a tattered Feywild like 4e version did. I have mixed feelings on that.

Critical Role to Use D&D 2024 Rules For Campaign Four, Expands to Three Tables and Thirteen Players

Well we know in previous seasons of CR WotC did in fact sponsor them & advertise. I think that stopped with season 3, but circumstances have changed with 5.24e and Daggerheart so it seems they are doing so again. Plus of course WotC published two hard covers for Exandria, and D&D Beyond...
