Cormyr should be wiped of the map and become the ruined lair of an Amethyst dragon, with the remnants of the population forced to become the dragon's services and soldiers. The PDK background is for those that were raised to be one of these soldiers. ;)

Honestly for me it's whatever monsters don't immediately intrigue me with their standard lore. However, half the time I end up changing the lore for a lot of these creatures that then makes me appreciate their standard lore more over time (even if I like my new lore more).

Funny enough, I’ve been thinking of greatly expanding the species and their features, along with giving them species specific feats that they can take in addition or general feats to create more mechanically distinct options that can be mixed and matched along side classes for greater options...

I’m currently enjoying Pokémon Infinite Fusions. Doing a Randomized run and somehow managed to catch both a Rayquaza and a Raikou. Wonder if I should fuse the two together…

As an American, it sounds more natural to me to say “I’m arriving at _” and “I’ve arrived at _”. Random note, seeing the word “arrive” so many times is now messing with me where I think it’s constantly misspelled even when I know it’s not. 🙃

You know, for all my love for dragon mythology and media of all various forms and cultural influences…I’ve never really considered have a family of dragons based on eastern dragons in my homebrew world.
