In most cases you only need spells for specific class - and each class has spells list sorted, even with short descriptions.

Tiny Hut is actually a haven right now only because spell says so; without impenetrable dome you still need to stand a watch - so it does not satisfy haven description in T&T.

You don't need proficiency with tools for anything, if I understand correctly. Having proficiency only makes check easier and not a requirement.
