If I can squeeze it into my schedule I will attend.

Jeremy Crawford Also Leaving D&D Team Later This Month

This confirms all my prior preconceptions and biases, and I am satisfied that my assumptions are obviously correct. But in all seriousness OSE and Shadowdark are better.

Shadowdark Western Reaches Stretch Goal: New Classes

I voted paladin and necromancer, but a Conan like barbarian would be rad.

WotC Mike Mearls: "D&D Is Uncool Again"

Mike Mearls did nothing wrong and is absolutely correct. Also it is astounding this thread has over 1000 comments.

What Published Modules Have You Run or Played Multiple Times?

Sailors on the Starless Sea. I consider it a perfect one shot.

D&D 5E 2024 Monster Manual has better lore than 2014 Monster Manual

I actually think producing focus tested corporate approved monsters robbed of their raison d’etre is bad for the game.

Shadowdark Setting Looks Set To Be 2025's First Million Dollar TTRPG Crowdfunder

I found a thread from 2023 that states unequivocally that Shadowdark is just the next OSR fad and it won’t have legs. I got a good laugh out of that.

What is your favorite RPG book of all time?

Haven’t played it, though I own them. I dig the art and the lore. It seems like it would be easy enough to pick up and play.

What is your favorite RPG book of all time?

The Warhammer 4e books are really good. Beautiful art, fun and interesting lore, and a good, playable game ensconced within it all.

Shadowdark Western Reaches Stretch Goal: New Classes

I think an OSE style Mage would be cool. There’s a really neat idea behind them and they play really fun.

What is your favorite RPG book of all time?

Really fantastic, in the sense that you can use it for a single dice roll to add spice to a room, or you can use it to design an entire mega dungeon. It’s a fun read too. That and Monster Overhaul get a lot of use on my table. I forgot to add Monster Overhaul to my initial list, it definitely...

What is your favorite RPG book of all time?

I doubt anyone will read this, but I like this thought experiment. —Faiths and Avatars, 2nd Edition —Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, 3rd Edition —The Dungeon Alphabet, by Michael Curtis —Midgard / Southlands campaign settings, by Kobold Press —Slaves to Darkness / The Lost and the...

Shadowdark Setting Looks Set To Be 2025's First Million Dollar TTRPG Crowdfunder

Happily backed this. ToV is my WotC 5e replacement, Shadowdark fits in real well with my OSR rotation of OSE and DCC. I’m super excited about the direction Shadowdark is taking. It doesn’t feel stale and market tested to death.

D&D (2024) Wargamer Takes Shot At WotC for Not Respecting Forgotten Realms Canon.

Hold up, no. This is a really demeaning thing to write, I expect better from you. It isn’t a minor grievance for those of us who really are into Forgotten Realms lore AND who spend our money to buy these books. It isn’t meaningless to us, and being utterly dismissive of people who care, even if...
