The first draft has been written and will be shared as a pdf with backers later this week.
Thanks everyone who followed and supported us...
The campaign is at its midpoint now and we are very happy to see the overwhelming response! Here are some pretty cool illustrations that I received from our artists recently. I have also posted some updates with more art and some sample pages from the adventure. More to come very soon!
Shadow over Gloomshire is live on Kickstarter! It's a gothic horror adventure for Dragonbane. The cover art is by amazing artist Anton Vitus and we have a long list of renowned contributors. Check it out here and help us get off to a great start...
One reason I like horror in TTRPGs is that I get to experience the horror atmosphere, but it never gets truly scary like in horror movies. I can't stand those. So it's like this space where I can experience horror tropes while not getting scared shitless.
One principle I try to live by is that every room in a dungeon should have something interesting in it. It doesn't have to be something you can interact with, but it should at least be something that adds to the atmosphere. No empty rooms!
I enjoy both but usually end up GMing, since I get to choose exactly the game I want to play for the moment. In a beer and pretzels setting I prefer being a player though!
