Is Evil Genius Games Doubling Down On NFTs & Blockchain?

Consensus 2024 took place May 29-31 2024. Seems the application cycle was around April 2024, but they seemed to change their minds on the cutoff date. https://x.com/CoinDesk/status/1785441270611034296 https://x.com/CoinDesk/status/1776276646934319125

Evil Genius Games Attempts To Remove Bad Press [Update--And Then Adds Legal Threats!]

Obviously (I hope) I am not able to reveal specific details of EGG finances, where money was raised from and what it was spent on. I do know the answers though. At the point where EGG was low on finances, I'd already voluntarily put my own pay on hold, and asked Dave to do the same, to ensure...

Elon Musk Calls for Wizards of the Coast to "Burn in Hell" Over Making of Original D&D Passages

The whole twitter thread is like a playground fight of toddlers throwing "DEI" and "Woke" at anyone who gets involved. 🙄 🍿

That's wild that you got a response of some sort while I've been completely left hanging, after being passed on to the correct person to handle this.

WotC WotC Removes Digital Content Team Credits From D&D Beyond

I said that I would update everyone on how discussions go with Wizards of the Coast on this matter. On 31st July 2024 I created a D&D Beyond support ticket and sent an email to the HR team. My email was forwarded on through HR up to Kerry McDonald (HR Director) on 8th August. It's been 6 weeks...

WotC WotC Removes Digital Content Team Credits From D&D Beyond

I'm pretty busy so haven't been following this thread too much, but I'm going to jump back in here briefly. This isn't about me justifying myself - this discussion seems to have gone in some odd directions, so this is a brief info drop. I also dislike the personal implication that I am...

WotC WotC Removes Digital Content Team Credits From D&D Beyond

The practice of only getting a credit on the digital version isn't something that's done anywhere else - it was only ever intended to be an interim, while we agreed how to add the team to the credits for the physical books going forward. Industry standard is - if you contributed to the content...

WotC WotC Removes Digital Content Team Credits From D&D Beyond

I explained a lot of this on my initial Facebook post, which Morrus quoted. 1. My team and I were involved in working on the content that went into the physical books. We weren't part of the D&D studio, but we worked with the studio team. Our contributions improved the content in the physical...

WotC WotC Removes Digital Content Team Credits From D&D Beyond

Standard within the industry is, at a minimum, to credit all individuals who have contributed to the content within a book. That includes designers, writers, artists, editors.
