These ideas sound pretty uninspired. Throwing temp HP and rerolls at the game for no reason doesn't add fun, IMHO. I wish they'd been a little more creative, or maybe write scenarios designed for duet play. Otherwise, give guidelines for the DM on how to adjust a scenario... Which seems it would...

I picked up Outgunned Adventure at my FLGS yesterday... Yup, looks like just the right thing.

A standalone game with original setting, with explorer and adventure seeker vibes, actually sounds more interesting to me... even though a Tomb Raider game itself does sound like it could be fun.

While I didn't think it was perfect, I enjoyed Honor Among Thieves. Maybe a little more light hearted than I'd like for a comic but could work.
