ARIL
(Speaking to Mr. Black)
What's the move indeed. A very good question.
(Speaking to All)
I think we should start by visiting Allesha's Pantry or some soup kitchens.
Luke, are you familliar with Allesha's Pantry? Last I heard it was in an old warehouse halfway between the Gatehouse and the...
@Cergorach
You have quoted me directly, so I shall answer you directly.
I was careful to limit my opinions on the matter, by stating very clearly that they are my opinions.
Yes, yes...there was a semi-rhetorical question in there as well...
That having been said, I do bid you good day.
@TaranTheWanderer
I didn't read "I'll have a mediocre posting rate until jan 3rd" as unavailable, which is why I've been waiting on Bimble's arrival. 🙂
ARIL
As it begins to rain in earnest, Aril switches from practicing somatic gestures, to quiet singing.
A catchy tune that he picked up on the Air-Ship of Love(1): Singing in the Rain, by Jeem Kelhi. (In the original Alphatian, of course.)

Older stuff I am familiar with, and you might already own:
AD&D (2e) World Builder's Guidebook. Covers both top-town & bottom-up approaches. Pretty much system neutral.
Rolemaster (2e?) Gamemaster Law has rules for generating...
Had scheduling issues with a group once.
If you want out of the game, but want to stay connected, an option is to exit your character, and then drop in on occasion to play "NPC" one-offs for your friend.
Playing a "disposable" villian for a session can actually be a lot of fun (and it's not...
When everyone is outside Aril will ask:
When was the last time everyone has slept and eaten.
Suggest they go to Alisha's pantry (run by the Bleakers). Food + Eliath search + clueless learn wher they can find food when they are in need.
Deal with the who sleeps where issue. I can't imagine that...
