I thought that disjunction would not affect use activated items such as armor or weapons if the save was made. Is there a rules clarification anywhere on this?

Its -1 on the level adjustment without the wings right? I thought it was in Savage Species somewhere. Also AFAIR, natural flight allows you the run movement, but magical flight does not
