Truth. Andy Collins said in his thread on wizard's board (Q: unanswered questions) that: "Caster level is NOT a prerequisite and NEVER has been. When an item is created by a different character, it will have a higher or LOWER caster level." I hope this helps. :cool:

The DD d12 HD true ability bumps as 3.0 BAB as a bard new spell at every level except 3, 7, and 10. 60' blindsense at level 5. wings at level 9 At level 10 you have: +7 BAB, +7 spells, +3 nat AC, +saves as a Drd10, 10d12hp, +8 Str, +2 Con, +2 Int, +2 Cha, ... Questions?

There's no longer a small or large shield. You don't know what you're saying. Can bards use heavy shields? ...light shields?

Bard lost medium armor and tower shield, but "Can they still use heavy shields?" :confused: (Yes, I know they suffer ASF from shields.)

Saeviomagy, sorry you didn't undeastand my post. Yes, 7th in two classes is better than 8ths in one as I can hit you with Enervation and be rid of all your 8ths (no save). And you may get a couple of my 7ths with Enervation, but all I'll need is ONE Power Word Stun and I can unload!

I sent the below e-mail to WotC (custserv@wizards.com) and I am asking you folks to write a similar one as well.

The fix. With ANY prerequisite, it's still TOO powerful, because at epic level, the abuse potential is mind boggling. The fix lies within the granted caster levels. My fix is: Only grant the +2 caster levels once every 5 levels and for the other levels, the class must choose which class's...

Sample: Wiz20 vs. Clr3/Wiz3/MTh10/Xyz4 (where Xyz is another PrC that grants +2 caster levels per XP level) = no contest. ...even: Wiz3/Clr3/MTh10 (a level 16 PC) is gross. Few PCs reach 17th level anyway. That's level 7 spells in 2 classes folks! Quite the badboy at level 16, wouldn't ya say...

I can't get the search feature to work. I'm trying to find the errata'd ECL for half-dragons. DMG p.22 says +3, but I know that the ECLs there were all increased. Where's the answer? It's my first post, so "Hi all!" :D
