hey guys just want everyone's opinion on which of the above setting is better the midnight campaign setting by fantasyflight games or The Dark Sun campaign setting by Athas.org both are worlds where evil reigns... thanks for the response

i guess from reading everyone views, it boils down to one thing "dont blame the tools, blame the worksman" i had the bad luck to run into an inexperienced, inflexible Gm who was very gamist and more interested in roll playing rather than roleplaying.

CR something that is D&D only. if you play other rpgs, the gm can throw antagonists at you that are above your fighting skills and you just have to run to save your life :)
