Just a quick update: things seem to be fixed now! I can view and log in to the forums. Good sleuthing, people.

It's not the computer - it's the IP address that's having the trouble - I cannot access the site from other computers on the same network. As mentioned, proxy servers bring up the site. Their chats are down for "technical difficulties," but I can find no mention on their site about this issue...

I, too, am having this same problem, with the exact same symptoms and workarounds. Any help would be appreciated!
