I might have made a thread for this a while ago, but I didn't want to bump an old thread just thought I'd create a new one.
Does anyone know what the Glass-steel material characteristics are?
I think I remember it having hardness similar to adamantium,
but I'm not sure. I do know it lowers...
yeah thats my main problem with it, theres no reason for me to have to take that dumbass feat. why dodge and mobility anyways?
not all two weapon fighters prance around.
so no other TWF classes?
homebrew?
anything?
Okay, so Tempest is a 3.0 TWF class, with terrible feat prerequisites (spring attack chain? yuck), I was wondering if anyone had retooled it to 3.5 and made it, you know, not suck.
you are all forgetting another aspect of Law vs Chaos
Chaotic characters live on instinct, going with their gut,
whereas Lawful characters rely on thinking, rejecting emotional response.
I still think monks aren't good enough to be considered Lawful only,
in addition to the fact that...
I don't think monk is good enough to be restricted to lawful,
sure it fits flavor wise I guess, but I'm sure non-chaotic would be just as good, if not better for the class.
That's just my personal opinion, but they say monks come from monastary, and many monastaries can have different belief...
Why don't you use one of those three-pronged staffs? It kinda looks like a really big nunchuck. You see them in lots of martial arts movies, maybe it's in Unapproachable East or Oriental Adventures? Since it is already a metal weapon, there wouldn't be any game issues with using a cold...
omg get raped hahaha
Mod edit: Folks, the term "rape" denotes an unacceptable act of sexual violence, and not a laughing matter. While the word is not forbidden, the suggestion that someone ought to have it happen to them, even in jest, is not acceptable on EN World.
rofl I can't believe I missed that.
I told myself "I'm not gonna put class"
but there it is
I told my DM of some of these ideas and he was like "Too many classes, why can't you just play a damn rogue and be done with it?"
EDIT:Looking for good Half-Orc/Orc classes, only good one I could find...
Well, like, a dwarf paragon deepwarden Battlerager would be kinda nasty...
The half orc can take orc once he gets done with half orc, that's like +6 to Str total, with full BAB.
Halfling Master thrower, lol.
wtf why did I just answer myself
Paragon classes are a variant that basically allows you
to take levels in a race.
Each one is three levels long.
Each paragon class improves the racial abilities granted
by that class, and provides a boost to the races corresponding
ability score at the third level.
For instance, Dwarf paragons...
Sorry about that.
And that rant wasn't necessarily directed at you guys, I just needed to rant I guess. The part about questing for a weapon is for unique weapons, something like Aegis-fang or Artemis' jeweled dagger (can't remember the name) as for feats I don't know why I put that there maybe...
Replies in bold.
Well, there is still ranged attacking, and using poison coated fists.
But as far as an armed monk,
how good are clawed gauntlets?
Also, I really want an AoO build.
What is the best for that build?
I don't really like doing absurd amounts of damage, and my play group is more conservative and I guess frown on power gaming. They really like to preserve the balance of the system, and role play is pretty important, granting us bonus experience for doing it (nothing huge, but it's nice to get...
WALL O TEXT
tl;dr: Look into Disarm, Poison Use, Ranged Monk/Ranged Flurry, TWF/Flurry and crits
I don't really like decisive strike, I like the idea of hitting a lot with flurry. Maybe if it was offered with other class features like a tactical feat? Like there are three or five schools you...
