Looking to add a additional gamer to our group!

Hey there folks! My gaming group and I are looking to add a additional head to our circle. We are located in Warrington (just outside of Doylestown) and meet weekly on Saturday. We primarily play Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 & D20 Modern. We are a laid back bunch who enjoy the release role playing can...

(D&D 3.5) Seeking to add a new face to our gaming group.

Hello Folks! We are a gaming group who are looking to add a new face to our campaign. We play every Saturday at 6:30pm till around midnight. Many of us have been playing together for quite a number of years so we have plenty of experience under our belts. We have no issues teaching new...

Good adventures for players level 12+

Best bet is to use the Wizards 3.5 conversion. I think it is very well done. If you dont think the trap DC's are high enough then just bump them up a bit. Same goes for the few encounters found with in. As for a time limit, personally I just wouldnt let em take 20 or even 10 for that matter...

D&D 3E/3.5 Do me a favor, check you 3.5 printing number.

My DMG says First Printing: July 2003, Special Edition: October 2005. The Players Handbook and Monster Manual both say First Printing.

    Adventure for Adventures

Oh, well I am looking for modules that are mid to low magic. I would perfer a map but if the module explains the lay out well enough then there is no need. As for monsters, they dont need to be statted out, just their name and how many of em does well for me.

    Adventure for Adventures

Thanks for the help Rumbletiger. Although I had most of these modules from WotC. I'm looking for ones written by the common gamer. An any level would do.

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Help needed with magical items pricing

I asked Monte Cook a question that is very much like your own. I had asked about the pricing of magical items such as a wand of infinite magic missles. Now you would think; wow, a wand that can cast a long range spell that always hits (even if it is level 1 with a d4+1) forever. That must cost a...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Dragotha Lair 3e

I found a fantastic adventure by Bruce Cordell called Dragotha's Lair. It was a module for the RPGA Adventurers Guild Tournament. It sort of is a sequel to White Plume Mountain or atleast an adventure that has something to do with it. Anyhow I am working on a word for word conversion of it with...

    Adventure for Adventures

Hello Gang, Long time lurker here. I am on a hunt for modules for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5e. I have already gobbled up the free adventures offered by WotC and a few odd ones found on the net. I am find that I am having a hard time finding generic adventures that can be dropped into any ol'...

Search Skill and Taking 20:House Rule, no taking 20 on search checks

To tell you the truth I dont allow my players to take 20 at all. I think the whole idea is kind of stupid. I think an important part of role playing is the chance of failure (dispite the fact that the newer editions are more and more player friendly). This give for more role playing...

    Location, Location, Location

Greetings! I am a long time gamer who has just recently fallen in love the wounderful world of Greyhawk. I am currently working on a rather large campaign using many of the now famous modules from yesteryear. My only problem is that I am having a hard time pinning the locations of where...

    Looking For a Map Maker

Alrighty, I am looking for a map maker with the ability to create classic looking dungeon maps used mostly with 2E products. The maps from the box sets of "The Ruins of Undermountain" are the style I am looking to recreate. So does anyone know of any problems that could do such a thing?

    Artifacts.

I like to throw a couple of artifacts into my campaigns from time to time just for the fun of it. They not only aid the players but add to the role play value. Though I would only give one out if they had gone through great efforts and I would reward them fittingly or if they learned about it...

    Epic Final Battle!

I have a question, well two really. What level are your characters and do they know anything about Fzoul? Because they gotta be out of their mind if they are going to go after him. Besides the fact that he wont be alone when they find em and unless they are packing hefty levels it would be a...

    Rolplaying Elminster

This is far from the truth and anyone who knows Elminster, also knows of how much he tends to get involved with whats going on in the realms wither he would like to or not. Even 1st level adventurer's have been assisted by Elminster on a number of occasions. Now as much for being buddy buddy...

    Whackiest Monster

No, no, no. I think I have you all beat with the Calzone Golem from the 3e adventure Something's Cooking by Andy Collins. I would have to say it's ability to "Spurt (Ex)" when damaged had my gaming group and I in stitches. Spurt (Ex): If the calzone golem is struck for damage by a slashing or...
