You mean tabbed tool bars? I'm not sure how this would apply here... Hmmm, yes. Could be useful for identifying which players are hogging time! ;)

    D&D 4E Mac-friendly 4e Combat tracker?

Hmmm, "Bus error" means the program crashed :erm:. So there should be a "crash log". Check the directory 'Library/Logs/CrashReporter', which you will find in your home directory. There you should find a number of files called 4eTurnTracker*.crash. Please send me the most recent of these...

    D&D 4E Mac-friendly 4e Combat tracker?

No not you :), your Mac is using a different "shell" to mine, so we need to use a different command. Please try this: cd /Applications export DYLD_PRINT_LIBRARIES=1 4eTurnTracker.app/Contents/MacOS/4eTurnTracker

    D&D 4E Mac-friendly 4e Combat tracker?

Hi turnip! Sad bunnies make me cry! :.-( I am the programmer of 4eTurnTracker, and I would really like to find out why it does not run on your Mac. Firstly, do you have a PPC based Mac? TT currently only runs on Intel machines. Another problem may be 10.4. I am building TT on a 10.5 system...

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

I have just released a new version of 4eTurnTracker. :) The most important addition to the program is a "Monster Manager" Window, but the release also includes a number of changes suggested on this thread. The Monster Manager Window is used to create Monsters and Encounters. Monsters can be...

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Thanks, but I can't use any of your code because your program is written using DHTML, JavaScript 'n stuff. 4eTurnTracker is written in C++. So the programs are in 2 completely different worlds :erm:. But, ren1999, why don't you check it out for yourself? ... 4eTurnTracker Download :)

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Interesting idea. But the Effects dialog is already quite cluttered so I would add it as an additional option. The program is written in C++ using Qt, so porting to Linux would be easy.

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Hi Maudragon, Thanks for your feedback! :) I agree. I will change this. In the Apply Conditions and Effects dialog, Healing group, you indicate how many healing surges are to be used, and the total HP you gain. When you change the number number of HS used, the number of regained HP is set to a...

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

4eTurnTracker auto-saves every step of combat as it happens. After restart it restores the entire history. BTW: The history persists until it is explicitly cleared or until you change Data folders.

Sorry I have not had a chance to look at your program yet. Will do next time I boot my PC. Thanks for the offer!

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Yup, especially as the levels go up! My aim with TT is to track the most important stuff with as few clicks as possible. Excellent! I am very interested in feedback, especially from test play. And I would like to keep the discussion public. Since these posts will eventually be lost under the...

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Good to know. That should be easy enough to do when implementing the creature stat block import.

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Yup. I figured import would be important, but it's good to hear from other user's. This helps to set priorities. Yes. Select all the targets with shift-click or control-click. Then click on the PACMAN button (the icons are a bit odd, but the were free, hehe ) to add an effect. I guess...

OK, good point. Yup, of course! We are using the program ourselves :)

    D&D 4E Introducing 4eTurnTracker!

Yes. Creating monsters by copy-paste from the Compendium (or any stat block) is next on my list. And I plan to make building encounters easy too. Do you think it makes sense to support the .dnd4e file format, considering that Wizards are discontinuing the product?
