D&D General “10 Towns is now 1 Town.” What is a funny “we’ve made a mistake” you’ve done?

Played in the official Icewind Dale campaign a year back and due to a massive plan that backfired, the famous Ten Towns became One Town.

Basically we thought we could call the dragon back to his home base instead of running back to town and fighting him. Oops.
