01 Games, your maps are amazing... a question

Where you live that may be possible, but the kinkos here in OK, USA cost 50-90 cents a sheet for laser prints.

One hour spent at a printer also has value - as a man with a family and full time job, one hour of my free time is worth more than any single product, by anybody.

It makes me happy to hear that you are going to print. Ihave frequently looked at your stuff but will not buy PDFs any longer (I bought one (BoEM) and never read it, won't print it off, ended up buying the print version when it came out.).

I live in Italy and the price for a laser print is roughly the same (the euro is equal to the dollar in these days). I still think this is a cheap solution. If you want to print the whole product (nine sheets) it will cost 6.75$(a 75c medium price), you then must add the cost of the product itself (6$) and still have a good product for 12.75$, that is, in my thoughts, cheaper than an equivalent printed product. Moreover you may print only what you need, thus saving more money.

Obviously the time spent in this operation cannot be evaluated, it varies from person to person... :)

You know I would buy this in print....sadly, I just can't leap on PDF graphic type supplements.

I'm seriously thinking of **no longer** buying dungeon maps unless they're PDF. Why? B/c it's a **pain** to store all these hardcopy maps (all of different sizes, of course) -- none of which I can use, since I'm going to be using MK miniatures, which require 1.5" squares. With a PDF, I can print it out (at the scale I want), and either store it in a looseleaf binder, or throw it away entirely.

We are testing "Deadly Ice", the forthcoming 0one's adventure, and I used the battlemaps while running it.

I printed the Fountain Room onto a regular sheet of paper and placed it into a trasparent page holder (the one you use to put documents into the ring binder without making holes). This way we were able to write on the battlemap (monsters hps and the like) without ruining it (and saving it from the beer that usually falls on the table).:D
