1:1 scale mapping program?

Hi all,

I've got transparencies, a color printer, and I'm on the hunt for software that will help me create and print 1:1 scale maps that I can put out over my battlemat.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm familiar with business software, can fuddle my way through Paint or such, and have no knowledge of Corel whatsoever.

The good folks at Izandwo ( http://www.realmcreator.com/ ) are working on a set of 1"=1' objects and terrain for their mapper. Not a lot there yet, but work is being done fairly quickly.

It is also possible to enlarge maps done with other mapping programs using most graphics programs.

Another good mapping program is Dungeon Crafter (www.DungeonCrafter.com ), I have seen maps made with DC blown up, they come out a tad blocky, but are still quite useable.

Both of these programs are free, so even if they aren't quite what your looking for there is very little risk.
