Of course they don't. To automatically miss an opponent you would have to assume there is no roll. There's nothing automatic about rolling a 1. Your question is nonsensical to begin with.

You're being obtuse. A 1 is an automatic miss (and, now that Deities is out, an automatic skill failure as well) regardless of bonuses. Likewise, a 20 is automatic success, again regardless of bonuses.
