1/19 D&D Insider Update

Wizards is blocked at work, so I can't check myself (and to be fair, I haven't checked in a few weeks). Do any of the bug fixes address the printing issues?

I'm glad to see various armor enchantments that were missing for some armor types are now working.

Corellon's Boon no longer locks up, but you still can't choose it's daily power. Power swaps still don't work.

There is still no option for adding bonus feats and powers.

And it's still slow as molasses in January.

I hope to some day be able to use this for my home campaign instead of the CB classic.

Yeah, I'm sad about the lack of house rules support.

And it's still slow as molasses in January.

I got a new computer, and it works fine for me now. I think it's definitely resource hungry, but I doubt that's a bug they can easily fix. The latency is still a problem depending on how fast the connection is. At my university, it's blisteringly fast. At home it still takes a half second to think on everything.

I like the autosave feature, but I wish they'd built it so it only had to chat with the server every minute or so, instead of on every click.

The specific lack of all things House Rule still leads me to hope that the AT will be more then just a monster builder in the sky...

Inherent Bonuses and houseruled feats/powers/items are a biggie for me and any game I have or will run.

It would be really swell if the houseruled items have options for interacting with the builder in a reasonably user friendly fashion, even if it means modelling that stuff after other "objects" that are already in there.

I can already do this by adding custom files to the hacked CB classic, though I do have to play around a lot with kludgey XML. What it means though, is for me to switch completely, the Vecna builder is going to have to keep up, I'm afraid.

And that brings me to refluffs. I should be able to refluff powers names and effects indiscriminately. All of that junk should be an editable text box, even if only on the character sheet side. I use MSE because neither builder does this. The output from MSE is quite nice and it has a relatively gentle learning curve.
