+1 spellcaster level question

For PrC that add +1 spellcaster level, do wizards still gain two new spells with that PrC level? How about sorcerors? It says that the caster increases spells per day as if they had advanced a level in their spellcaster class, but it doen't say if they gain new spells.

Yes. They also gain the spells known.
