The Fright Stuff
As Halloween fast approaches, so do the undead and otherworldly terrors! This weeks batch includes a number of undead templates, including the foul-smelling Ghast-Lord, the numbness-inducing Spectral Wizard, and the mighty Master Lich. Two fiendish templates also appear, the will-sapping Knight Terror and the unholy-armed Fiend Knight.

Up from the depths swims the Bereginya, Drowned Maiden, and Ravenloft Siren. These aquatic undead will gladly lure your heroes to new "depths" of depravity.

Rounding out the batch are the Lost Souls, an amalgam of reanimated corpses, as well as their incorporeal counterparts.

Note: The Lost Souls currently have a formatting problem, and I have yet to update the Ichthyodrake. This is due to apparently not having the necessary software configured on my new workstation. Hopefully I'll have those fixed soon. Nevermind, got it working and got 'em fixed.

Well, that's a topical selection.

I suspect you've got quite a few new critters in Homebrews still to add to the CC, but you needn't rush on my behalf. :p

Release the hounds!
A pack of canines come sniffing and snarling around the Creature Catalogue.

This batch includes a number of variant dogs: the strong-swimming Bushdog, the wily Coyote, the "coo-coo" Dhole, the baby-stealing Dingo, the "halfway to wolf" Hunting Dog, and the "greyhound of the desert" Saluqi.

Rounding out the bunch are several magical canines. The Jann Saluqi are infallible trackers, the Gnasher (and its winged relative) are dangerous pack hunters, the Weisshund can detect hostility and increase its size, and the Silver Dog is alluring and capable of imparting a boon or bane.

(Yep, that's eleven creatures. I got a bit carried away. :heh:)

The "Baby-Stealing Dingo" sounds like it should be an evil-alinged variant of the Dingo. A worg-analog to the normal wild dog.

If D&D can have evil wolves, why not evil dingos?

You got carried away?

I'd quip about that suggesting you resemble a baby, but it seemed in bad taste.

Rounding out the batch are the Giant Carp and the morkoth-following Tunnel Fish.
It isn't a big issue, but while catching up, I noticed that the Giant Carp seems to have been uploaded twice.

Also, just in case you are curious, I count 130 creatures that are completed, but which haven't yet been uploaded, so that's enough for three full months of uploading at 10-per-week without adding any new conversions to the pile.

I'll check into that. Thanks!

Sadly, I'm well aware of that. :.-(

Oh oh oh it's Magic!
With a wave of a wand, a number of magical beasts appear in the Creature Catalogue.

This week's batch ranges from the tiny venomous Copper Opossum to the mighty White Boar and it's nemesis, the Bulette-Mutation. Also included are the petrifying Stone Snake, the gem-eating Demarax, the sandswimming Whirling Dervish, and the frightful Yowler. Two swarms, the Demonic Sawfly and Wraith Roach join the fray, as well as the multi-creature Air Fish entry, which includes both monsters, swarms, and a template.
