100 Problems that aren't solved by violence alone

29. The Church of Cuthbert and the Church of Ollidamara are both holding festivals in the city at the same time. One is a solemn procession through the city, the other is a pie throwing festival. The PC's are hired to keep the two groups from coming to blows.

30. A druid has developed a new program where he helps endangered monsters. The druid hires the PC's to capture and relocate various creatures away from inhabited lands into the wilderness.

31. A woman in a city the PCs frequently stay in claims a PC is the father of her new child (she has been a patron of the same inn a few times). This can be a recurring plotline depending on how many PCs turn out to be gravy trains.

32. A ghost entreats the players to return her bones to her family plot, to be reunited with her husband. Unfortunately, her husband was buried elsewhere... and most people who spend their time digging up graves attract some suspicion.

33. A ship just off the coast of a town or village the PCs are in has run aground and is sinking in choppy water.

34. A noblewoman (or queen), in a play for petty revenge on the host, appears to have her most valuable jewels stolen at a party the PCs attend. The PCs must recover and return the item on short notice before their friend, the host, must cough up some ridiculous sum in line with the politesse expected among the nobility.

35. A Black Ball has followed a merchant caravan into town.

You know that moment when Wily Coyote notices the shadow forming around his feet, looks up, sees the rock, and puts up that tiny umbrella?

Yeah, it's like that.

37. Crafters and Merchants in a town known for its natural tar and asphalt deposits, as well as its extraordinary clay pottery, are dying. Having grown in the last few years on the frontier due to trade in it's natural resources, improvements to the town include an aqueduct/man-made stream to bring in more fresh water. However, several areas of the local soil and rock have been weakened by this, and water has entered the nearby mines and caves, disolving soft stone and releasing poisonous gases, and poisons into the water. The PCs are hired to/or stumble into helping solve the string of strange "murders", which leave no mark on the body but a crazed and wild-eyed grimace among those who have, due to their work, been inhaling or drinking the most concentrated toxins. (Needs several red herrings)
