101.) Nothing happens. Truly nothing. Grass stops moving, the wind ceases, creatures seem to freeze in time. There is a deep, profound quiet, as in the passing of something great and terrible, or low and sad. A second becomes a millenia. And then there is a great crashing noise as the world beings to turn once again, the breeze roars in, grass rages in its rustling, and the breath escapes from those around to fill the void of sound. The world crashes back into place.

Weird...these were the two that I was going to suggest. Good work Hand of Evil. (I was going to say HoE, but it makes you look like a garden tool or well...never mind).

The nosebleed thing would be like Charlie's dad on Firestarter...

I was thinking that the tattoos could be a quick flash of the Arcane spell (similar to what is in a Wizard's spellbook) that flash up the Sorcerer's arms too quickly for any spellcaster to read the words to figure out the spell...(after all, this is purely for roleplaying effect and shouldn't affect any game mechanic rule or ... um... thingy.)
