101+ uses for a vial of melted troll flesh

This thread has given me an idea...

In a less serious, somewhat anachronistic campaign, you could buy Canned Troll. Open can, troll meat oozes out, starts on 1 hp and fast heals from there. A villain could buy several cans and open them when he's expecting company.

Brings a whole new meaning to opening a can of whoopass.

You could rub mud on your face and people would have a harder time telling who you were too.

I'm assuming since you melted it's face off you used acid or some such thing, wouldn't that negate any interesting regenerative powers pretty much leaving a pile of inert gooey flesh.

I used an everburning torch that was nearby. The GM, for some reason, decided that while it didn't produce heat it could still melt troll flesh. *shrug*

This has been thought of before.

If I recall, they were using it as "endless rations." You open the can, let some troll regenerate out, slice off your troll segment, and re-seal the can. Then you make sure you cook your piece of troll completely and eat!

As weird as it sounds, something similar was mentioned in an official source. The Planescape monstrous appendix included a variety of Gehreleth that could liquefy itself, and said that some fiend lords would bottle them for use as insta-troops.
