13 Hours of Sleep!

"O sleep! O gentle sleep!
Nature's soft nurse, how have I frighted thee,
That thou no more wilt weight my eyelids down"

When I was younger, I used to be able to sleep 10 hours at a stretch. Now I generally only get 6 or 7. I think it's a combination of getting older and the fact that I usually have enough caffiene in my system to kill a mule.

It is possible to go with only about 3 or 4 hours a night. My last semester at my old college (severaly years ago) I was working 9-10 hours a night and taking an 4-6 hour-a-day chemistry course. Add in homework and there wasn't much time for anything else. I was drinking two liters of mountain dew and about 60 oz's of coffee every day.

yeah... I average 3 liters of soda a day. When I hit 6 liters I have problems sleeping.

Between the preservatives in the soda and the food, I figure I am self mummizing myself. 3000 years from now I'll still be there- clutching a dew in one arm, and a handful of rotted comics and DnD books in the other.

and almost forgot.... sprinkle in my action figures and DDM figures as my guardians in the afterlife :D

The Chinese were proud of their armies of clay soldiers. I have DRAGONS!

I've noticed that I sleep in multiples of 90 minutes. I gone on as little as 3 hours and as much 15. As long as its a multiple of 90 minutes I usually have no problems with being tired. Otherwise I'm irritable and in a semi haze for most of the day.
