Last Friday's cancelled livestreamed game will, hopefully, take place tonight. WotC's R&D team will be using the latest D&D Next playtest rules to play through The Lich Queen's Beloved with 17th level characters.

There's now an official 13TH AGE rules FAQ from Rob Heinsoo, Cal Moore and Rob Watkins.
Rob Heinsoo also has a new blog post which touches on the 13th Age commander class, amongst other things. "I've been working on what we used to be called the 'battle captain' class for the 13 True Ways supplement for 13th Age. I got tired of the battle-captain mouthful and renamed the class "commander."

Next week, Monte Cook Games will be launching a new Kickstarter; this will be for Monte Cook's and Bruce Cordell's new game, THE STRANGE, and will use the same game engine as NUMENERA. Graphics look spacey, and given Cordell's involvement I'm betting far realms, tentacles, and psionics.
