I think that would be an outstanding idea. I would recommend hiding the address somehow, as dinkeldogataoldotcom in order to avoid being too easy for bots to pick up your e-mail and spam the crap out of you.

10-4; In fact, I would have thought it was understood behavior. Often a mod will not just ask to drop it, but to "drop it, or take it to e-mail." Sometimes we get a little busy in real life, so the warnings get a little more concise than we mean to. But if an argument develops, I'd see no problem to post once further to say, "Cutter, I'd be interested in discussing this further via e-mail, my address is X at x dot com. I'll bow out here, in deference to the mods." You're not arguing, you're actually being quite civil in that.

(But I am still a Hockey-Head.)

In some parts of the U.S., hockey is slang for something... er, defecatory. :D So one thing you haven't been, as far as I've seen, is a hockey-head. :)

Not in northern parts where some of us grew up playing hockey... Up here, it's an affectionate term to mean "Someone who is boisterous and a bit out of control but in a good way". I, too, have been sometimes decribed as a "Hockey-Head". :)
