Problem in online order form fixed

I was informed that my credit card expiration date fields were not working properly. They are now repaired and the form is once again fully functional. For all of you who unsuccessfully attempted to subscribe please try again. You should get better results.

Sincerely,

I went to the store to take a look at the 'subscription', but the shipping price to europe just scarred (Oh, it's scared, SSS is confusing me ;-) me away. The 'magazine' is already quite expensive, but i was willing to give it a try, but the shipping is as much as the 'magazine'. Please try to find a solution for this (try to find someone that is willing to distribute it in europe).

I haven't received an email confirmation for my subscription.

Do you not send them or did I mistype my email address?

Also, are pdf's permissible for the free $20 of stuff? I hope so. If not, I'll have to refine that part of my order.

Foreign Shipping

I do apologize for the initial high rate ($20) for foreign shipping. But I do promise to charge actual shipping price and offer a refund if it is less than the $20. I originally had a lower rate and on the very first order got burned. I'm just playing it safe and not trying to make extra money on shipping.

As to distributing in Europe - WE ARE! In the U.K., Italy, Belguim, Australia, Hungary, Japan, Denmark, Germany, France, Greece, Finland and Sweden.

I'm not sure who would be the distributor for the Netherlands (I'm terrible with geography) but tell your local RPG store to ask their distributor. If one of those countries is close to you I'll give you the contact info myself and you can pass it on to Mr. Store Owner.

Our books are also available through Amazon.com. They have international shipping don't they?

Either way, you really want a book we'll get it to you. Contact me personally with your complete address and what you want to buy and I can give you an actual freight charge that will hopefully be less than $20.

Email confirmations for subscriptions

Don Adam,
I did receive your subscription and pdf's are permissible for the free $20 of stuff. We usually send out confirmation emails within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the subscription. This is after we have confirmed payment (translation: charged the card). I am going to change the confirmation page to mention that, thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Sincerely,
Robert J. Williams, President

Re: Foreign Shipping

ARGH!

It ate my post. Must retype.

Rob,

My advice is to offer Global Priority Mail for international subscriptions. And, actually, nothing else.

Rates: http://www.uspsglobal.com/get/prod/gpm_busi/prod.htm

It's $7 for a large flat-rate envelope to Canada/Mexico, $9 anywhere else. The envelope is the same size as the domestic Priority Mail flat-rate envelope (about 9x12), and so should hold a copy of GF just fine (or even two; I've been able to stuff hardcover books in them). In my experience, delivery to Europe is pretty reliably around a week or less, sometimes just 2-3 days.

You want to keep it simple. You also DON'T want to offer people the cheap-but-slow options, becuase you'll spend too much time telling some guy in Tuvalu that he should chill out when his book isn't there in a week, because at the rate he wanted it's going to take 3-4 months for the outrigger canoes to cross the Pacific and deliver it to him (or whatever transport method they use for the really slow options). Really, your customer will save $5 on postage, and you'll spend $50 worth of your time answering e-mails about books that haven't shown up yet.

I agree 1000% Global priority has been great to us and John is right I could fit a Bluffside Bundle in one envelope with a bit of room to spare, the extra product ($150 bonus stuff )may get costly, but it is FREE ya know :D but issues of GF should be around $9 as John stated.

Foreign Shipping

Thanks for the heads-up, guys. I am stunned that I never considered Global Priority. I use the Post Office for EVERYTHING. Consider it done. My international shipping rates are now $9. Cergorach take note :)
