1st level stats

I'm not an expert on character creation so I used e-tools to create a 1st level spell-thief. The numbers aren't coming up as they should, though, so I want to verify that I have everything right.

Spellthief 1
Gnome
BAB +0
Str 12 (+1)
Dex 18 (+4)
Feat: Two weapon fighting

E-tools say that base melee attack bonus is +2, therefore, it is giving me a +0/+0 attack with two daggers with damage 1d3+1/1d3. It says that the base ranged attack bonus is +5, but it is giving me a +1 attack bonus with a light crossbow with damage 1d6. This is making me feel crazy so I checked and Dex bonus applies to crossbows so based on what e-tools is saying the attack bonus should be +5.

I'd appreciate someone telling me what is right here.

Did you equip the crossbow 1 or 2-handed?

one-handed, I guess. Should it be two?

There is a -4 penalty to use it 1-handed.
