For more information, visit www.goodman-games.com. Etherscope is the cyberpunk Victoriana RPG of etherspace adventures in an age of industry, intrigue, and industrialism. In 1876, Harold Wallace discovered something that changed the world: Etherspace. The might of Victorian industry drove forward, breaking down the frontiers of technology. Steam engines became smaller, weapons became more powerful, and cybernaughtics replaced limbs lost in bloody imperial wars. Then mankind learned to step into Etherspace itself.

Now it's 1984. In this alternative world of out-of-control technology, Etherspace is the new frontier. Punk scope riders fight evil industrialists while occult investigators war against Etherspace demons. Mysterious System Agents lurk in the shadows as treasure hunters raid Lemurean ruins for lost secrets. Jack in, scope up, and get ready, because the options for an Etherscope game are endless!

Etherscope is a complete OGL role playing game containing everything you need to create a character, play an adventure, start a campaign, and explore Etherspace!

(Consider this blatant and outrageous begging for a review copy. :) )

Update: "Document cannot be printed."

Just because Acrobat 6 has a bunch of neat, nifty toys does not mean you have to use all of them.

I second the begging for a review copy!

*smile* I'm utterly totally thrilled about this book! I *love* steampunk <and etherpunk> and deeply look forward to seeing this see print finally! I'm doubly sad now that illness in the family kept me from getting my NDA off in time to join the playtest.. Ce la vie..
So, its definitely a Goodman release, rather than White WOlf? Will this book see PDF publication on DTRPG and the like or only print? Is December 05 the firm release date? Will there be any otherbooks for the setting?

I guess I'm a fanboy already! :)

I think Joseph's the best person to answer these questions.

Well, there's The Great Metropolis already announced, and we're currently working on a second supplement. Joseph might be able to say a bit more, I'm not sure how much I can say. As the game's designers, we're hoping for a successful product and a long run of supporting releases and have planned accordingly, we'll just have to see if the sales meet our hopes and dreams and we get to see the full product line realised.

Cheerio,

Ben

That's good to hear! It's a great RPG and a beautiful book. I think a lot of people are going to really enjoy it.

Etherscope is definitely a Goodman Games release. Retailers will be able to order it under the SKU code GMG17620.

There will be other releases, as Ben mentioned. The Great Metropolis is already announced and we'll have details on future releases soon.

The December release date is firm. The files went to the printer Monday. Barring printer delays, Etherscope will hit stores December 12. Start counting the days! :)
