2 questions (different topics)

Q1: concerning savage species: I may have missed the part in the reading, but I am interested in playing a Half-Ogre. In the chart it says Hit Die, Saves, Feats, and skill points are "by class". Does this mean that I do not get any of these for taking a level of Half-ogre? for example, would a Half-Ogre1/Cleric9 have the same Hit die, saves, feats, and skill points as a Cleric10? or just cleric9?

Q2: in Defenders of the Faith: the hospitaler PrC states that access to other domains is lost when taking this PrC. However, I have been led to believe that there was errata that changed this. Is this true? If I was a cleric with domains: air, destruction...and took the PrC, would I give those up even though the 2 domains i take listed under the PrC have nothing to do with my chosen deity? I was led to believe that you are still allowed to have those 2 you originally had plus the extra two (but no new spell slots...only 1 divine spell a day from a certain domain...just now you get a choice of 4). Which is true? If I do lose the domains, is there anyway to get them back?

In answer to question one you gain feats and skills based on your Class level + Racial HD. LA is not included. LA (Level Adjustment) is only added when figuring experience.

Half-Oger is not a class. It is a race. You would not be a Half-Ogre1/Cleric9. You would be a Cleric9 with an ECL (effective character level) of 10 due to the Half-Oger LA of +1.

In response to question two, the Defenders of the Faith FAQ states:

The first entry (Spells) is incorrect. Use the second entry (Spells per Day) instead. In addition, Table 3-7 should have a Spells per Day column, which should read "+1 level of existing class" at each level.

Thank you so much for the help on both Q's. But the answer to the second one (about DoF) brings up another Q:

If the info from spells is wrong, do I not get to choose 2 extra domains? Or is there anyother place in the PrC that also mentions those PrC's? I have tried to read the info as closely as possible but i just could not find the answer.

I think either you choose to go by the Spell section as written and replace your current domains with two chosen from the list or you ignore the Spell section as suggested in the FAQ and keep your current domains and not gain any additional domains. As far as I can see the only place that gaining additional domains is mentioned is in the Spell section, so if that section was remove I do not believe there would be any reason to think that you would gain additional domains.
