20 odd years worth of minis :)

Sigh, just remembered, after several years, I had an ENworld account ('cause name got truncated...lol)
Anyway...one day it was nice and sunny here in Scotland (obviously it was BEFORE Summer, lol!), and I took piccies of nearly all the minies I've painted in the last 20 odd years, and put 'em up on me site.
Piccies of some of them :)

Got the shield paint scheme idea off a Ral Partha catalogue, I think?

cheers mate :)
ah, going from yer icon, yer an "eye tyrant" fan? ;)
they were about the best I was able to model, me being a noob :D
neded 'em for my spelljammer games, and they were fun to make

Cool stuff!

Thanks for sharing. I have a lot of those minis - but not being a painter most have remained unpainted all these years unless I can get a friend to do one or two. . .

Nice to see them completed, and I like that some look like they have seen a good deal of use. . .

Nice collection :)

I'm gonna have to try and track down some of those old elf axemen figures (that you have put in the 'fighters' section)... even if I already do own my own bodyweight in unpainted metal :D

Kris,
They were "HIgh Elf Axeman" or such, from Grenadier, iirc, and lol, yes, I too have far too many unpainted minis :D

El-Remmenr,
ah the wear is one reason I started getting the WOTC pre-painted plastic ones. Sucks HUGE to see damage on minis you'll probably never get round to re-painting, and that have good paint jobs :(

Gold ROger,
Later minsi were mostly much better crafted, but the old ones had charm too...*well remembers gazing longingly at a fire giant mini by Grenadier, in a box, every time he went into RPG shop, but never got*
sigh :)
