That's almost always the case with any kind of copy protection scheme: it screws honest customers while the pirates laugh...

And step two, customers tell each other and the company screws itself. I'm certainly not buying that pdf, nor the entire slate of uber-expensive pdfs they have for sale over at Paizo. They lost like $100 bucks from just me over this fantasy of theirs. Why would I buy a pdf lacking the only thing that makes it more convenient than dead-tree format?

Dang, I wish I saw this earlier. $10 for City of Brass (I'm assuming this is the Necromancer Games boxed set PDF version) would have been so very sweet. What other awesome PDF's did I miss out on?

Start crying at the lost opportunity.:) There were 30 of them.

I remember:

A Song of Fire and Ice
Artesia the Known World
Castle Whiterock
Cooper's Compedium of Corrected Creatures Bundle
Dark Conspiracy 1e
Deadlands Reloaded
Dragon Warriors
Etherscope
Grimm
Iron Kingdoms Character Guide
Judge Dread (runequest version)
Legends of the Five Rings 3e
Mutants and Masterminds 2e
The City of Brass
Traveller TNE Bundle
Megatraveller Bundle
Ultramodern Firearms

I think there might have been a dragonmech one too.
I know there was a pelgrane press one, it might have been Esoterrorists. There was a runepunk Savage Worlds setting I forget the name of.

It was Mutant City Blues.

That would be Runepunk. :)

Pirates of the Spanish Main was the other Savage Worlds game (IIRC, it's complete - you don't even need SW:EX); there was also MouseGuard, Twilight: 2000 (1e, IIRC, but maybe both), and I forget the rest. Twilight: 2013? Anyways, a ton of great games.

Double dang. Well looking at that list, I already have a couple of the PDF's that were on there. City of Brass and Deadlands Reloaded would have been bought though. Oh well, they'll keep for a little longer! :D

 Thank you for the head's up, Inferno! - That DOES matter to me ... Usually, things don't even make it to my wish list if they are copy/paste disabled.

You're welcome. I agree completely with your view of copy/paste disabled pdfs. I won't suggest that a publisher doesn't have the right to do that, but I won't be wasting my money on such a crippled product.
