Its been a tight year with $$, so I've only purchased Midnight products for the new campaign I'm starting: Campaign Setting, Against the Shadow, Minions of Shadow, Crown of Shadows and will hopefully be getting Fury of Shadow this week.

Hmm... I didn't realize my purchase have fallen back as much as they have; this is all I've picked up in 2004 to date.

D&D (arranged chronologically)
  • Dragonlance Campaign Setting
  • Unearthed Arcana
  • Expanded Psionics Handbook
  • Eberron Campaign Setting
d20 Modern
  • d20 Weapons Locker
  • Modern Player's Companion (The Game Mechanincs)
  • Modern Magic
  • d20 Future
non-d20
  • Angel Roleplaying Game

D&D
-Iron Kingdom Character Guide (sweeter than a new set O' snow tires!)
-Planar Handbook
-Steam & Steel (PDF)
-There could be 1 or 2 i'm forgetting about. Which says all it needs to about them i suppose.

D20/OGL
M&M Annual #1
Maybe M&M Crooks! (can't remember when it came out)
Power Corrupted (pdf)

What I Will Buy:
Iron Kingdom Campaign Guide
Thieves World (if GR is really doing it!!)
Maybe this Battle Box thing (nothing like taking an advertising time-out in the middle of a huge train wreck! sweet! )

D20/OGL
Various M&M books will always get my attention, though i don't automatically buy them anymore.

Besides those, i'll be taking a a break from D&D/D20. Probably a REAL long break. Though i may catch up with a handful of GR books that i've wanted to get for a while now.

There are non-D&D i'm more interested in these days. Like Warhammer FRPG. NICE. Green Ronin has some smart cookies running the show over there.

Not much.

Unearthed Arcana (seems ok, I admit I haven't read through all of it yet).

Complete Warrior (I bought this after having downloaded a copy of it off Bearshare)
Complete Divine

PDFs -
Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe - yea, I'm really late on this one. I recently got this.
Elements of Magic, Revised Edition - still haven't read through this yet, but like what I see so far.

Want to get: HARP, Grim Tales, Complete Arcane, "Buy the Numbers"

Legends of Excaliber: RPGObject shined with this one.

Gotta echo that. Legends of Excalibur is very well done.

Other things:

Conan d20. I like what I have read, playing the game should commence after the first of the year, when other games wind down.

Unearthed Arcana. Dunno if I've gotten my money's worth out of it yet, but I'd say I am happy with what bit I've plucked out of it. I'm certainly not disappointed, as I knew what to expect going into it.

Sidewinder: Recoiled. Would like it better if I didn't need d20 Modern, but that does not detract from my very high opinion of it. (The rest of my main group has made a conscious decision to stay away from Modern.)

Piles upon piles of Ed Bourelle's tiles by Skeleton Key games.

I have bought other stuff, but these products leap to my mind. The rest has not seen play at my table.

To buy:

Blackmoor CS. Though am not interested in a new CS, Blackmoor is basically base-line D&D, and there are some things I'd like to lift from the book for my own homebrew.

Hardback version of Legends of Excalibur (I bought the pdfs, like it enough that I think they deserve some more of my cash).

Some of the Conan supplements.

That's it.

Hmmm. Let's see.

This year, I got into D&D minis. I bought three Harbinger starters, seven Dragoneye boosters, five Archfiends boosters, and three Giants of Legend boosters. I plan on buying a case of Aberrations.

Since I was a bit behind the schedule with WotC products, I tried to make it up by first getting Complete Warrior, Draconomicon, and Underdark, followed by Unearthed Arcana and Player's Guide to Faerun, and then Complete Divine. I've ordered Serpent Kingdoms and Eberron (both will be arriving soon, hopefully), and I plan on ordering Monster Manual III, Libris Mortis, Complete Arcane, and Shining South.

As for non-WotC stuff, I've purchased numerous PDFs (too numerous to mention), the latest being Beyond Countless Doorways. I also got Green Ronin's excellent Psychic's Handbook, and I'm using psionics... er... psychics... for the first time in my DM career. I plan on getting The Book of Fiends and Mechamorphosis (as I've always been a HUGE fan of Transformers).

Oh yeah, I also got 2nd edition Cloak and Dagger.

Lots of WotC books...I thought we were cutting back guys! :D

The only WotC books I've bought this year are Complete Warrior, Draconomicon, Underdark, and Serpent Kingdoms and I just order Unearthed Arcana. I usually get most of the FR books at least. I got CW, Draconomicon, Unearthed Arcana only because they were really cheap on Amazon (60% off). I wouldn't have bought them otherwise. I don't think I'll be buying any WotC stuff for a while after these.

I also bought AEG Wilds. Nice book for outdoor campaigns. It's probably not as detailed as the new environment books from WotC but it's nice to have a book with a lot of different material in it.

Grim Tales: just awesome. Not the flashiest book out there (it's B&W) but the content is superb: lots of options, simple and fast rules, tons of flavor, great mechanics.

For non-D&D, non-WotC stuff, I've bought Mutants & Masterminds, Time of Crisis, Crooks, and Freedom City. The quality of both the books and actual game are amazing. Green Ronin put together a suberb line of products with M&M.

I've also been buying a lot of Shadowrun stuff lately too but mostly on ebay. You can get a lot of the older books (and sometimes the newer ones) pretty cheap. I've bought the 3ed core rulebook (2 of them actually), Seattle Sourcebook, Paranormal Animals, Cannon Companion, and a bunch of adventures.

Oh, I just bought the Munchkin card game too. :D

Thinking of buying: Conan d20 RPG, Midnight, more Shadowrun stuff.

As far as I can recall, the only roleplaying product's I've bought this year were Mongoose's Pocket PHB, BESM, & several OOP products (B3, B4, D&D Expert rulebook, X1, & Toon).

On my list of stuff to buy is: C&C PHB & LA Essentials. Other possibilities are the GURPS 4/e Basic Set books & more of the CT reprints.

Hmmm... recent purchases:

Tournaments, Fairs and Taverns
Heroes of High Favor: Halflings
Planar Handbook
Fields of Blood
Tons of Giants of Legends minis
Complete Divine & Warrior
Several Dragon/Dungeon mags

There's been a lot more earlier this year- but meh, that's what I recall lately.
