Just a tip--Red Hand of Doom is well-loved among adventures this year for its excellent design and useful Behind the Curtain insights, so if you want to knock off an adventure next time and you don't want to pick on Ravenloft, I suggest Slaughtergarde.Jedi_Solo said:Down with Adventures!
More because I have no use for them that anything else at this point. As before, Revenloft gets a pass by me since it is Ravenloft and I actually purchased it.
Red Hand it is. It may be a very good product, I wouldn't know (and I fully admit that is why it is doomed in my eyes and gets my vote - not that my one vote is going to make a difference at this point).

No problem--I actually don't buy adventures at all, so I'm not speaking as a satisfied RHoD customer or anything, but I have heard good things about it.Jedi_Solo said:I've heard more about Slaughterguarde than I have about Hand (okay - maybe I've heard more recently) and I have actually looked at the Slaughterguard product (which is more than I can say for Hand). I liked the mini-boxed-set/mini-campaign set up for Slaughterguard and it is that that concept that actually made me look at it in the first place. I fully admit that I have not looked at either in what I would call "in depth".
With Slaughterguard having gotten more of my attention than Hand, even if Slaughterguard wasn't later in alphabetical order I would still be voting for Hand first with Slaughterguard being the next one on the list. I was simply too lazy to do a full explanation in my earlier post.
I honestly do thank you for the input though. I like Behind The Scenes stuff so I may have to take a look at Hand just to see what those say.
